5-Hour Desert Safari from Hurghada

This afternoon you’ll swap the beach for the desert just outside Hurghada.

Your Quad Bike Start

Your adventure starts at Glamour Safari Hurghada Station — our own private safari center at the edge of the desert. No middlemen, no waiting, just a smooth, well-organized start. We collect you from your hotel around 2:00 PM and drive you straight to our station. Don’t worry if you’ve never ridden before — our instructor walks you through everything and lets you take a few practice laps under his eye. Every quad is fully automatic, so there are no gears to think about: just press the throttle, ease the brake, and you’re off. It’s far easier than it looks, and within minutes you’ll feel comfortable on it.

Into the Open Desert

From there, we ride out into the open desert — roughly 20 km, about an hour to an hour and a half — with stops along the way to take photos of the dunes, until we reach the Bedouin village. Hot Egyptian tea is already waiting for you. Sit back, draw on a shisha if you like, and enjoy the quiet of the desert. Here you’ll also climb onto a camel for a gentle ride through the sand — the slow, swaying rhythm that travellers have crossed this desert on for centuries.

Sunset, Dinner & Folklore

As the sun starts to drop, we ride back toward our station. The sky turns copper and rose over the dunes while a traditional dinner of grilled meat is prepared over the fire. A short folklore show rounds off the evening with desert music before we drive you safely back to your hotel — tired, happy, and with plenty of photos and stories to take home.
